Information We Collect
When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number, and order details. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment provider and are never stored on our systems.
When you browse the store, we automatically collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring site. If you sign up for our newsletter or contact us, we collect the details you give us.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process and deliver your order, send order confirmations and shipping updates, handle returns and customer service enquiries, prevent fraud, and — where you have agreed to it — send marketing emails. We also use aggregated browsing data to improve the store.
Legal Basis for Processing
We process your order details to perform our contract with you. We process browsing data and send marketing on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We process fraud-prevention and record-keeping data on the basis of our legitimate interests and our legal obligations under accounting law.
Who We Share It With
We share your information only with the parties needed to run the store: our payment provider to process your payment, our fulfilment partners and their warehouses to pack and ship your order, our shipping carriers to deliver it, and our ecommerce platform and email provider to operate the store. We do not sell your personal information.
International Transfers
Our fulfilment partners are located in the United States, so your name and delivery address are transferred outside the EU in order to ship your order. These transfers are made under the safeguards permitted by EU data protection law, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and understand how the store is used. You can refuse non-essential cookies through the banner shown on your first visit, or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop checkout from working.
How Long We Keep It
We keep order and invoice records for five years after the end of the financial year, as required by Danish accounting law. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Browsing analytics are kept for 14 months.
Your Rights
If you are in the EU or the UK, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it's wrong, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us and we will respond within one month.
If you are in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale — we do not sell personal information.
Complaints
If you're in Denmark and unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to Datatilsynet at datatilsynet.dk. If you're elsewhere in the EU, you can complain to your own national data protection authority.
Children
Our store is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
